You’re Not Stupid. You’re Not Wrong: This Is the Age of Aquarius.
This piece is going to be a little different from the “norm” because I’ll be mentioning astrology, although that’s not a foreign concept to me, I know it is for most people. I also know that it is a turnoff for others as well. Much like everything I write, my response is to simply stop reading if you are turned off by something I said.
This piece is for every Aquarius and those with strong Aquarius placements (Aquarius in your big three). It’s also for anyone who is aware of the new world we live in. A world that may look and feel old. For too long we’ve accepted things for how they are. What was considered true went unverified. The wise were vilified for possessing knowledge not “taught” in schools or spouted on the news. If you can identify with being ridiculed in this fashion, this one is for you.
What Is the Age of Aquarius?
In Ernest Layman’s terms, it’s a shift in consciousness and social values. It’s questioning authority, not for the sake of rebellion, but for truth seeking. I’m not naive enough to think the new millennium cleansed this world of rabid conditioning, but the vale has been removed. The only people who can’t see it are those who don’t want to.
To Be An Aquarius
Aquarius gets a bad wrap for being stubborn, but that’s just a shadow side, and like all shadows, it can be destructive if not channeled correctly. You have to be open to changing your mind when presented with new information that proves to be fact. In order to do that, you have to be open enough to research old and new information to seek the truth. That is Aquarius at their best. When the rest of the world settles for scraps, the Aquarius says “I want more. I deserve more.” This level of consciousness is not “greed,” “arrogance” or “shallowness.” My question to you is why don’t you desire more?
To Be You
To be you doesn’t mean you have to be an Aquarius. As an Aquarius rising I can deeply identify with what Aquarius’ have dealt with their entire life. Being made to feel dumb around old world morons who think asking questions makes one look stupid, and being made to feel small by limit based beings. Much of what I said here will be labeled crazy incoherent ramblings by the small minded sheeple I was just referring to. In my experience, people just don’t go away because you told them to, but they’ll leave you alone when you call for their attention. I see the smoke you came here with and raise you fire.
- You shame Aquarius for being able to critically think because your whole life you were told a lie, even about critical thinking.
- You’re mad at Aquarius for expecting more. We’re not just talking more out of life, but we can also get into how you settle and shame anyone who doesn’t. I’m primarily talking about expecting more than just “because I said so.” To convince an Aquarius, you’re going to need more than “just trust me bro” and as mentioned before, society at large is still okay with that despite what they say. Aquarius’ not doing that makes you feel inadequate which leads into my next point.
Inadequacies & Limits.
“If you’ve ever been unjustly doubted in life, you’re either an Aquarius, have Aquarius placements or have the same awareness that Aquarius’ have.” — Yours Truly.
If you’re the latter, you’ve probably recently (or for some time now) been ridiculed for the things that you say, your beliefs and for simply asking questions. Every question you ask is met with a snarky response or eye roll from the actor who wishes they thought just like you. Every insightful thought you share is downplayed because the actor feels acknowledging your point makes them inferior, as if acknowledgment is a zero some game.
Actor, the voices in your head calling you “lackluster” are that of your own. Acknowledging that sooner rather than later will grant a gateway towards the healing you desperately want. But if you don’t want to change because admitting the old world has a strangle hold on you means admitting that you were lied to all your life, then have fun staying poor.
