Why I’m No Longer Talking About Politics.
My mouth is too big and my mind is too restless to not ever talk about politics. The title is a lie. You vote for the same two parties every cycle, you should be used to getting lied to by now.
This last U.S. Presidential election cycle was the first time I didn’t feel the need to bitch about the election results, not that I was completely satisfied with the results, It’s different this time and going forward it’s going to be this way. This happens to be the first U.S. Presidential election cycle of me being a Bitcoiner and that plays a major part in why I’ve been saying “Bitcoin is my politics. Bitcoin is my President.”
Other Bitcoiners can call me delusional, but crediting Donald Trump with all of the success Bitcoin has had lately is unqualifiedly against why Bitcoin was created in the first place. This thing (Bitcoin) was going to rise regardless, whether Trump or Harris won. I too believe that Bitcoin would’ve taken a hefty, (but recoupable) hit if a freedom money hating Democrat won, but this thang (Bitcoin) has proven plenty of times it’s resiliancy. It’s not just “fuck you” money it’s “fuck your feelings” money.

A technology that sounds like me, but smarter. Kind of hard not to be be bullish. Don’t worry, I’ll always be the one to say “I told you so” when your favorite politician proves me right. A lot of people (Democrat voters) talk about “small wins” well those are mine and having a pro-Bitcoin regime is another one.
