Tributes. Take It or Leave It.

The survivors of the Black Wall Street Massacre deserve more than new sneaks. Nobody tell the Jewish community they should be grateful people remember the Holocaust ad curse Hitler (publicly). Nobody tells the Asian community they should be grateful #StopAsianHate was even a thing. A thing that resulted in protection laws made in their favor. Everybody tells Black Americans that we should be grateful whenever others give a sympathy performance. Black people, know that when people say this what they are saying is we do not deserve heart felt change. We don’t deserve ratification, empathy or sympathy. We’re beings who are a burden to society and anyone willing to treat us kindly even if it’s just a performance we should give our lives to them. Not even the survivors saying they want reparations was enough for the U.S. to give a damn. For the U.S. to make an effort for change. You can’t blame this one on just the Republicans. It aint just them who don’t want to see Black Americans prosper. They just do a worse job at hiding it.

Don’t be a Black American looking for anything more than a tribute. Better shine and dance like a brunch boot. We told you niggas the last time when tried not to hoop. All you had to do was vote and we got you.
