New York: The White Liberals Utopia.

When I look at New York these things come yo mind. Asinine rent prices for over valued properties, a once beautifully poppin Black lead LGBTQ+ scene, the Mecca of Hip-Hop, a wet American dream told to immigrant, Black Lives Matter signs in areas where the Black Lives were economically forced out, Un-Spike Lee (a watered down Spike Lee) and vaccine mandates so bad people are being roughed up and thrown in jail by one of the biggest gangs in the country, New York’s Finest (NYPD). Sounds like a white liberals utopia to me. It doesn’t take long to recognize a white liberals utopia means dystopia for those of us who aren’t white liberals, don’t aspire to be one or want white liberalism to be the law of the land. What i see and hear about NY and other liberal states gives me a small sigh of relief that I live in the South. I can own guns here, rent is not as bad as it is in New York or back home. There’s black people here and other “freedoms” I have here that many New Yorkers in a supposed “more liberal” state have when it comes to vaccination status and access to things. This is coming from someone born and bread in the Northeastern part of the country. Boston, Massachusetts is just the uppity twin brother of New York.

Why I’ll Never Move To New York.

New York is a big place and because of that I am aware that not all of New York is a hellscape, just like how not all of Charlotte is a “gun loving/anti-vaxx” haven. The header is meant to be dramatic. Life has taught to remove the word “never” out of my vocabulary unless I’m singing the hook to “My Lovin” by En Vogue. As a kid I would say “I’m never going to jail” and then that happened at 17. As a pre-teen, I was on my old school Jamaican/DJ Khalid claiming that I will never eat p***y and I started doing that at 20 and haven’t stopped since. “Never” has been true to my life majority of the time both good and bad, but I still want to use the word as least as possible. I say all that to say I don’t know for a fact if New York is not written in my story, but what I do know is right now I’m steering clear away from there. Politically it isn’t for me, nor do I suggest anybody who is anti-establishment Democrat to move there. Where I see New York headed is exactly what the title states. White liberalism is the illusion of progressivism. It is to uphold the sector of white supremacy that owned slaves but viewed them as loving pets. It’s the idea that their way of living is the only righteous way of living and those who don’t deserve to be punished. Again, these are the people who will call themselves “freedom fighters.” I have my views on the COVID-19 vaccine. I have my views on unvaccinated morons purposely going into establishments that only allow vaccinated people inside and making a scene about it. But handling it the way New York has is not how a nation should go about it. I don’t claim to have all the answers, but I do know fuckery when I see it and New York politically has been on some fuck shit and that’s all due to Handsy Andy Cuomo and the white liberal reign over many cities in the state of New York.
