How They See Me (from my perspective)

I get the feeling people think I’m a fool, sucker, yes man. At some point in my life I might have been all three, but I’m not now. Those people better hope the universe is kind to them because that can’t be right in Karma’s eyes.

I get the sense some people listen to me and either appreciate a different perspective on things or can accept a different perspective. Then there are those who see me as having a victims mindset because I bring up realities they are ignorant to, willfully or not.

Lastly I think there are people who are too “out of this world” they don’t see reality. These people tend to see me as one of them or someone with the potential to be one of them if I get received more “guidance” and “education.”

I do appreciate spirituality. I do want to be a more mentally conscious individual, especially if it will do wonders for my brain. What I don’t want to be is someone so “far out” that he truly believes that he is higher than anybody else. What I mean by this is I do not want to be another out of touch “yogi” or “hippy.”

There’s a privilege that comes with being that. Not having to worry about real life systematic oppression. Yes, I want more people, my people to get out of the victim mindset, but I will not ignore what created that mindset in those people in the first place.

Nobody is born with the beliefs that they have. It is learned based upon what we see, hear and experience. Emotions play a part of it as well. Generally speaking that is the true for everyone.

As a true higher thinker, you would be aware of that. Higher beings are aware of the mental and physical chains that minority groups are subjected to and simply not worrying isn’t something they have the luxury to do.

I’m aware this piece has taken a different turn, but it is all relative to how others see me. I want you to know I know what you think, I know how you think and aside from the scammers and ignorant, I agree with your thoughts of me. You don’t have me figured out, though. If me being in tune with reality is me not living up to my fullest potential then see me as such.
