Debate Reaction (Yours Not Mine)

I’m sorry America, but I have to laugh at you (us). I have to laugh because THIS is what you (we) get. This is what happens when you (we) continue to let politicians (and billionaires) get away with shit with no real accountability. The Democratic Party could’ve have better representation up there last night if the goal was to actually defeat Donald Trump AND fix the broken American system made worse by Donald Trump. Do you realize that now or is Biden still the “right” candidate because he is not Trump? (the wrong candidate).

We don’t have to discuss that now. What I want to shift focus on is you all. Your reaction to the Presidential “debate” last night. It’s safe to say y’all thought it was a shit show. A shit show with humor and clap back moments but after laughter came silence. With silence comes thoughts regarding reality. I’ll be honest, I was astonished at the amount of people who admitted to their disappointment in Joe Biden and what it looked like to be the acknowledgement of the low rated trashy reality show called “American Politics” from both Democrat and Republican voters. Side note, that gave me hope. Hope that more Americans will see things for what they really are and demand a change. I don’t want to remain too hopeful, this is America after all. That’s enough about my feelings on last night, I want to pick your brain and ask you just a few questions relating to what you witnessed last night and your whereabouts in all this political mess. Why am I not discussing my feelings about last night’s Presidential “debate?” Because I didn’t watch it.

Intentional.

I didn’t watch the “debate” last night because I sure as hell wasn’t going to sit through it. Not 1 minute, not 9 minutes, not 60 minutes, not 90. Besides, I was watching the WNBA Semi-Finals while tuning into a couple of my friends chatting together on IG live. Both the game and the live ended an hour before the debate did, still didn’t waste any second on that mess. What I did instead was watch a couple YouTube videos then tuned into a podcast while they live streamed their response to the shit show. They were displeased with both candidates if you were wondering how they felt about it. I fell asleep and woke up to the sound of a weasel. This weasel was Mark Zuckerberg. Apparently while I was sleep, the ghost or monster under my bed thought it’d was a good idea to click on the video Marques Brownlee did with Mark Zuckerberg. Zuck’s voice woke me up in the middle of the night and it didn’t take me long to figure out who I was listening to, not because I can recognize Mark Zuckerberg’s voice. It’s because of Marques Brownlee’s recognizable voice and I heard him say “Mark.” My eyes were mostly shut but still were able to see Yucky Zucky on my screen. I quickly turn off my phone because fuck Facebook, fuck Mark Zuckerberg. Marques Brownlee is my guy. He’s not only my favorite techtuber (YouTube who makes tech videos) but he’s one of my favorite people on YouTube in general, but principles are set and if you know me you know I’m a stubborn man of principle. If My guy Marques has to take a hit in order for me to make the point that I’m not pleased with Mark Zuckerberg and Facebook then that’s a hit he will have to take. Same goes for the American people and this country in general. If my “one vote” doesn’t give you or someone else the result you all may have been looking for come November, that’s tough. These are the hits y’all have to take for the choices you’ve made. Marques chose to interview Mark Zuckerberg, you chose Donald Trump or to let the DNC get away with screwing over candidates who would actually beat Trump by a landslide. These are decisions I personally don’t like. That shouldn’t matter to you or Marques in the long run, but unlike Marques you’re going to have to live with 4 years of your decision so whatever comes from it is partially your fault. I’m quite aware of how “evil” and “selfish” I sound but points were made and the Presidential candidates I was riding for actually had plans for all of us so selfish? I think not. In all seriousness though, I’m not voter shaming, I’m just saying welcome to the light if you’re finally waking up.

I Just Want to Know.

To the Democratic voters who are voting for Biden, seemingly realize he is unfit to be a President, predatory and policy aside, are you still going to vote for him you want to get Trump out of the white house? Keep in mind Biden isn’t the only front-runner you could vote for, but I’ll just leave it at that.

Will you actually admit that you’re more so voting against Trump rather than you actually voting for the person who has plans for the policies you stand for? You define what that is for me.

Trump supporters like Ben Shapiro, were y’all really expecting Agent Orange to make a sound political point? When has he ever made a sound political point? (that’s not a rehearsed lie)

Were you expecting him to actually have a plan for the next 4 years? Let me make that clearer, a plan that benefits the American people, not just himself, his favorite daughter and friends?

Within the 4 years he’s been the President, has he really showed you that he is willing to make your life better?

Did he display acts of a President who actually cares about the job last night?

Who won the debate? There’s only one right answer.

Don’t fret, it’s only debate 1 of 3. Maybe that was just an “off night” for 0–47 Biden. Maybe your guy in general will “sharpen up” the next two rounds. All I know is I still won’t be tuning in, but I thank you for putting yourself through it for me. Maybe the Vice Presidential “debate” will be better. Pence seems to be more mature than Trump although they surprisingly have two totally contrasting views on homosexuality (Trump has the more mature and progressive view). Kamala is not only younger than Biden but can better formulate a sentence full of baseless political jargon so there’s that.
